Hello, all you people staring into the bright screens of your computers late at night. My name is Matin Yaqubi, and I am a current senior (Class of 2019) at Friends Select. I am very passionate about journalism. I am thrilled to be a part of The Falcon and will do my best to represent what our school is all about. My interests usually revolve around languages, cultures, and literature. I have always been curious to learn about people and their roots. When I am not writing or stressing over college applications, I can be found reading, engaging in lively political debates, or listening to Billie Eilish. I am very excited to grow as a writer and explore new ways of storytelling.
