In an email sent to the community on Monday evening, Head of School Michael Gary announced that all Upper School students will transition full-time to iSelectLearning on Monday, November 16th. 

This decision was not made in response to COVID-19 cases in the community, but instead a proactive measure against rising COVID-19 transmission in Philadelphia. 

The announcement did not mention a specific return date for students, but indicated that in-person school will resume when Philadelphia sees a decline in COVID-19 cases. 

Middle and Lower school students will transition to iSelectLearning on Tuesday, November 17th. For the time being, Pre-K students will remain in-person.

Coincidentally, this is the second time in 2020 that Friends Select has transitioned to online learning directly after a Friday the 13th, with the first instance coming in March.
