BREAKING: School Closed Until April 30th

Friends Select School will extend its digital learning platform through April 30th, 2020, Michael Gary announced Tuesday.
This announcement comes days after Governor Tom Wolf declared that all public schools and nonessential businesses will be closed indefinitely due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Friends Select officially closed its school building due to COVID-19 on Friday, March 13th. Since then, all classes have taken place on the school’s digital learning platform, iSelectLearning.
According to The New York Times, as of 4:15pm on Tuesday, March 31st, Philadelphia County has reported 1,072 cases of COVID-19 and 7 deaths from the illness.
For now, the best thing FSS students can do to fight the pandemic is to stay at home unless absolutely necessary, and to practice social distancing when they do venture outside.
