According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, CBS Local News, and ABC News, Pennsylvania public schools will remain closed for the rest of the 2019-20 school year, Governor Tom Wolf announced on Wednesday morning. This announcement comes as the state of Pennsylvania and the federal government continue to take precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19. Pennsylvania public schools, as well as Friends Select, have been closed since March 13th.

Governor Wolf’s order does not obligate Friends Select to close its doors past the current possible return date of April 30th, although the school may follow suit–the school’s decision to close until April 30th cited Governor Wolf’s initial order to close schools until the end of April.
