All final exams have been canceled for the 2019-20 school year at Friends Select School, according to an email sent to the senior class by Upper School Director Chris Singler on Monday.

Chris also stated that the school’s grading policy has changed slightly due to the abrupt shift to iSelectLearning. “We will average quarters 1, 2, and 3, and also quarters 1, 2, 3, and 4, and use the higher of the two averages for the end of the year/final grade,” said Chris. However, students must put forth a “good faith effort” and complete their work to the best of their abilities in order to receive their grade from the first three quarters.

The email, which will be circulated around the entire student body on Tuesday, also offered updates on senior events and the Spring awards ceremony.
