Street performers are a vital part of making a city feel alive. They make walking through the streets an enjoyable experience, they connect communities, and they display the culture of the city. While all of the street performers we documented had different backgrounds and stories, they shared a love for performing and connecting with their audiences. One street performer we interviewed, named Will Ellsworth, said, “I like the connectivity I have with other people…Music really bridges gaps, and it also does things for people that I may never see, and I like to have that interaction with people.”
